Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. NoorHop sets only these:

“httpOnly” means the cookie can’t be read by scripts on the page, and “secure” means it is only sent over encrypted connections. These cookies are strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for, so under UK and EU rules they do not require consent.

NoorHop also uses your browser’s or app’s local storage (localStorage) to remember things on the device:

• Children’s progress — stars, game results, Noori’s Journey and colouring artwork — when using NoorHop without an account, or before it syncs.
• Sound and music preferences.
• Parental settings such as the parental gate, screen-time and section choices.
• A random anonymous device ID used to record game results. It is not linked to any person.

This information stays on your device and is not used for advertising or tracking.

• No advertising or retargeting cookies.
• No third-party analytics (such as Google Analytics) or tracking pixels.
• No social media tracking buttons.
• No cross-site or cross-app tracking, and no advertising IDs.

Some videos are embedded using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Nothing is loaded from YouTube until a video is played. Once it plays, YouTube may store information on your device as described in its own privacy policy, which we don’t control.

You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings, or clear the app’s data or uninstall it on your phone or tablet. Doing so will sign you out and remove any progress stored only on that device — progress saved to a parent account will still be there when you sign in again. See our Privacy Policy for more.
