What's on each page

  • 6 identical cards (90 × 72 mm) with cut lines
  • The du'a in fully vowelled Arabic, on its own line
  • Transliteration and meaning under the Arabic
Listen and say it

The du'a on the card

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي

Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibbul-'afwa fa'fu 'anni

“O Allah, You are the One who pardons, and You love to pardon, so pardon me.”

For when to say it, a meaning for little ones and teaching tips, see the du'a for laylatul qadr page.

How to use it

For grown-ups

  • Keep one by the bed and read it together at lights-out.
  • Say it together at the real moment — that's how children learn du'as fastest.
  • Laminate the cards, or punch a hole and keep them on a ring.
  • The cards contain the name of Allah — please keep them respectfully and recycle them carefully.
  • Print at 100% ("actual size"). Ink-saver line art is the default, so colouring in is part of the fun.
