The du'a on the card

“All praise is for Allah, who gave us life after He had made us die (in sleep), and to Him is the rising up.”

For when to say it, a meaning for little ones and teaching tips, see the du'a when waking up page.

How to use it

For grown-ups

  • Stick one by the bed or on the bathroom door, where the moment happens.
  • Say it together at the real moment — that's how children learn du'as fastest.
  • Laminate the cards, or punch a hole and keep them on a ring.
  • The cards contain the name of Allah — please keep them respectfully and recycle them carefully.
  • Print at 100% ("actual size"). Ink-saver line art is the default, so colouring in is part of the fun.
