Today's mini-lesson
“Alhamdulillah” means all praise and thanks belong to Allah.
Ramadan is a time to notice our blessings — food, water, family and a warm home — and to say thank you for them.
Saying thank you to Allah, and to the people who help us, makes our hearts happy and full.
Thank-you walk
Walk around your home and stop at five things you're thankful for — a bed, a tap, a book, a toy, a person. At each one your child points and says “Alhamdulillah for…”.
Gratitude chain
Cut strips of paper. On each strip, write or draw one blessing and link them into a chain. Add a strip every day and see how long it is by Eid.
Alhamdulillah
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
Alhamdulillah
“All praise is for Allah”
We say it after eating, after sneezing and whenever something good happens.
