Today's mini-lesson
Salah is the prayer Muslims pray five times every day.
Little ones learn salah by watching and copying — standing next to a grown-up and saying “Allahu Akbar” together.
Every little try counts, so a wobbly first prayer is a wonderful start.
My own prayer mat
Give your child a small towel or mat of their own. Today they stand beside you for one prayer and copy what you do — no corrections needed.
Name the positions
Learn four positions — standing (qiyam), bowing (ruku'), prostration (sujud) and sitting — then play “Noori says”, calling out a position for everyone to show.
