Today's mini-lesson

Before the Eid prayer, Muslim families give Zakat al-Fitr — a gift of food or money for people in need.

It is given for every person in the household, even the babies, so that everyone can enjoy Eid.

Grown-ups pay it, but children can help count, carry and give.
