Today's mini-lesson

In many countries, streets and homes are decorated with lanterns, called fanoos, during Ramadan.

Lanterns aren't a religious rule — they're a happy tradition that makes Ramadan evenings feel special.

Their light can remind us that the Qur'an says Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth.
