Ramadan Day 20: MashaAllah! Spotting the Good
When we see something lovely — a beautiful drawing, a new baby, a big rainbow — we say “MashaAllah”. Below you'll find a 5-minute activity for little ones (3–5) and big kids (6–8), today's word with audio, and a day card to print.
Teacher review under way.
Today's mini-lesson
When we see something lovely — a beautiful drawing, a new baby, a big rainbow — we say “MashaAllah”.
It means “what Allah has willed”, reminding us that every good thing comes from Allah.
Saying it about other people's good things helps us feel happy for them.
MashaAllah spotter
Go on a short walk or look through a picture book. Every time you spot something beautiful, your child says “MashaAllah!”
Compliment cards
Write three kind compliment cards for family members — “MashaAllah, you're a great big sister” — and hide them under their plates at iftar.
MashaAllah
مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ
MashaAllah
“What Allah has willed”
We say it when we admire something good.
