Ramadan planner for families with little ones
Give each child a Ramadan that fits their age — moon-watching for toddlers, helper jobs for preschoolers, a gentle practice-fast ladder for 6–8s — with a 5-minute idea every day and printables with their name. Ramadan 1448 is expected to begin around 8 February 2027, depending on the moon sighting.
Teacher review under way.
Ramadan dates
Working out the dates…
Expected dates from the Umm al-Qura calendar. Ramadan and Eid begin with the moon sighting your community follows — we'll adjust if you tell us your dates differ.
Who's joining in?
Add each child with a nickname (optional) and their age. Names stay on this device.

How the planner works
- Check the dates. We use the Umm al-Qura calendar. If your community starts a day earlier or later, tap your choice and every date moves.
- Add each child — or pick their profile if you have a family account — and choose a track. We suggest one by age: Ramadan Explorer (2–3), Little Helper (4–5), Practice Faster (6–8).
- Each day, open “Today in Ramadan”. Do the 5-minute idea and tap what you did. A practice fast that stopped early is still a try.
- Print what helps: a moon tracker, countdown cards, an iftar helper chart and a “Ramadan Superstar” certificate.
Questions parents ask
Do young children have to fast?
No. Fasting isn't required before puberty. Many families let children aged about 6–8 try short practice fasts if they want to, building up slowly and stopping whenever they need. Under-fives join in other ways. Check with your doctor if your child has a health condition.
What happens to the ticks?
They are saved on this device. If you have a free NoorHop family account, they are saved to your child's profile so they follow them to every device. We never save health details, notes or anything else about your child.
Our Ramadan started on a different day. What do I do?
Choose “a day earlier” or “a day later” under the dates. The planner keeps your ticks by Ramadan day (day 1, day 2…), so nothing is lost.
