The du'a on the card

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَلَجْنَا، وَبِسْمِ اللَّهِ خَرَجْنَا، وَعَلَى رَبِّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا

Bismillahi walajna, wa bismillahi kharajna, wa 'ala Rabbina tawakkalna

“In the name of Allah we come in, in the name of Allah we go out, and in our Lord we put our trust.”

For when to say it, a meaning for little ones and teaching tips, see the du'a for entering home page.

How to use it

For grown-ups

  • Keep one by the front door and one in the car or school bag.
  • Say it together at the real moment — that's how children learn du'as fastest.
  • Laminate the cards, or punch a hole and keep them on a ring.
  • The cards contain the name of Allah — please keep them respectfully and recycle them carefully.
  • Print at 100% ("actual size"). Ink-saver line art is the default, so colouring in is part of the fun.
