The du'a on the card
اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ
Allahummaf-tah li abwaba rahmatik
“O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.”
For when to say it, a meaning for little ones and teaching tips, see the du'a for entering the masjid page.
For grown-ups
- Keep one by the front door and one in the car or school bag.
- Say it together at the real moment — that's how children learn du'as fastest.
- Laminate the cards, or punch a hole and keep them on a ring.
- The cards contain the name of Allah — please keep them respectfully and recycle them carefully.
- Print at 100% ("actual size"). Ink-saver line art is the default, so colouring in is part of the fun.
