Where the words come from

Sources

Qur'an verses are copied letter for letter from tanzil.net or quran.com, and du'as and hadith from sunnah.com. The reference is printed on the poster, with a transliteration and a simple meaning. Where schools of thought differ on small details, follow your teacher.

How to use it

For grown-ups

  • Laminate it and use a dry-wipe pen, so your child can colour in the stars again each week.
  • Start with the two or three du'as your child uses most, like eating and sleeping, then add one more each week.
  • Hang it on the fridge or the classroom wall at eye level, so it's easy to point to the right tile.
  • Play 'Which du'a?': call out a moment, like "It's raining!", and see who finds the right tile first.
  • Print at 100% ("actual size") on thick paper, or laminate it for a busy wall. For a big classroom or masjid poster, use the 18 × 24 in PDF at a print shop.
