  • Easy transliteration and a meaning for each verse (Saheeh International, lightly simplified for children)
  • A memory picture and a star to colour for each verse

  • Listen, repeat and colour steps, and a QR code to watch and recite with Ariana
Where the words come from

Sources

Qur'an verses are copied letter for letter from tanzil.net or quran.com, and du'as and hadith from sunnah.com. The reference is printed on the poster, with a transliteration and a simple meaning. Where schools of thought differ on small details, follow your teacher.

How to use it

For grown-ups

  • With only four short verses, Al-Ikhlas makes a great first surah: learn one verse a day.
  • Ask “How many is Allah?” and hold up one finger together, just like the picture for verse 1.
  • Colour a star only when your child can say that verse on their own.
  • Recite it together in the car or at bedtime until it flows.
  • Print at 100% ("actual size") on thick paper, or laminate it for a busy wall. For a big classroom or masjid poster, use the 18 × 24 in PDF at a print shop.
