Where the words come from

Sources

Qur'an verses are copied letter for letter from tanzil.net or quran.com, and du'as and hadith from sunnah.com. The reference is printed on the poster, with a transliteration and a simple meaning. Where schools of thought differ on small details, follow your teacher.

How to use it

For grown-ups

  • Print the 18×24 in size, fill in the class and teacher name, and hang it at the front of the room.
  • On the first day, read each promise together and let children press a painted handprint or write their name in the box.
  • Go over one promise each week and catch children keeping it.
  • Point to the picture, not the child, when a reminder is needed, such as the raised hand for “We raise a hand”.
  • Print at 100% ("actual size") on thick paper, or laminate it for a busy wall. For a big classroom or masjid poster, use the 18 × 24 in PDF at a print shop.
