Where the words come from

Sources

Qur'an verses are copied letter for letter from tanzil.net or quran.com, and du'as and hadith from sunnah.com. The reference is printed on the poster, with a transliteration and a simple meaning. Where schools of thought differ on small details, follow your teacher.

How to use it

For grown-ups

  • Put it up at the start of Dhul-Hijjah and move a sticky note along the path to show where the pilgrims are each day.
  • Act it out at home or in class: walk around a box “Ka'bah” 7 times, walk between two cushions for Safa and Marwah, and call out “Labbayk!”
  • Learn the Talbiyah one line at a time in the days before Eid al-Adha.
  • Your masjid or teacher may teach small details differently; follow them.
  • Print at 100% ("actual size") on thick paper, or laminate it for a busy wall. For a big classroom or masjid poster, use the 18 × 24 in PDF at a print shop.
