Where the words come from

Sources

Qur'an verses are copied letter for letter from tanzil.net or quran.com, and du'as and hadith from sunnah.com. The reference is printed on the poster, with a transliteration and a simple meaning. Where schools of thought differ on small details, follow your teacher.

How to use it

For grown-ups

  • Write your child's name at the top and hang it at eye level so they can see how far they've come.
  • Colour a star or add a sticker only when your child can recite that surah on their own.
  • Al-Fatiha is in Juz 1, not Juz 'Amma; it's the first tile because most children learn it first.
  • In a class or halaqa, print one per child and write in the date together when they reach the finish.
  • Print at 100% ("actual size") on thick paper, or laminate it for a busy wall. For a big classroom or masjid poster, use the 18 × 24 in PDF at a print shop.
