The du'a on the card
Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar. Subhanal-ladhi sakhkhara lana hadha wa ma kunna lahu muqrinin, wa inna ila Rabbina lamunqalibun
“Allah is the Greatest (three times). Glory be to the One who has put this at our service — we could not have managed it on our own — and to our Lord we will surely return.”
For when to say it, a meaning for little ones and teaching tips, see the du'a for travelling page.
For grown-ups
- Keep one by the front door and one in the car or school bag.
- Say it together at the real moment — that's how children learn du'as fastest.
- Laminate the cards, or punch a hole and keep them on a ring.
- The cards contain the name of Allah — please keep them respectfully and recycle them carefully.
- Print at 100% ("actual size"). Ink-saver line art is the default, so colouring in is part of the fun.
