Where the words come from

Sources

Qur'an verses are copied letter for letter from tanzil.net or quran.com, and du'as and hadith from sunnah.com. The reference is printed on the poster, with a transliteration and a simple meaning. Where schools of thought differ on small details, follow your teacher.

How to use it

For grown-ups

  • Print the 18×24 in size for a masjid or school wudu area, laminate it so splashes wipe off, and hang it at child height above the sinks.
  • Before children start, show them the little bottle on the poster and talk about turning the tap on low.
  • Pair an older child with a younger one as a 'wudu buddy' who points to each step.
  • Your masjid or teacher may teach small details differently; follow them.
  • Print at 100% ("actual size") on thick paper, or laminate it for a busy wall. For a big classroom or masjid poster, use the 18 × 24 in PDF at a print shop.
