How to say Qaaf

Its name in Arabic

Qaaf

Say k, but much further back: the very back of your tongue touches the soft back of the roof of your mouth. Deep and strong: q. ك (Kaaf) is the lighter one.

A heavy letter. Qaaf is one of the seven heavy letters, خ ص ض غ ط ق ظ. Say it with a full, round mouth, so its 'a' sounds deeper too.

Also written Qaf, Qof.
