How to say Ta

Its name in Arabic

تَاء

Ta

Touch the tip of your tongue just behind your top teeth and let go: t. Keep it light — the heavy t is ط (Taa).

Did you know? At the end of many words you'll see ة, a round 't' with two dots (ta marbuta) — like at the end of battah, duck.

Also written Taa, Ta'. Some books spell this letter Taa. On NoorHop, Taa is ط (the heavy t), so ت is Ta.
