Practise writing Ta (ت) — t as in tap. Your child traces from the right-hand side: big outlined letters first, then dotted ones, then on their own, and finishes by drawing an apple (tuffahah).

Saying and writing Ta
How to say it
Touch the tip of your tongue just behind your top teeth and let go: t. Keep it light — the heavy t is ط (Taa).
Don't mix it up
Same boat as ب and ث — ت has two dots on top.

For grown-ups
- Every row starts on the right. A small sticker on the right-hand margin is a great reminder.
- Say the sound each time: “Ta… t”.
- Trace the model letter with a finger first, following the arrows, then use a pencil.
- Use a thick crayon or triangular pencil for little hands — and stop while it's still fun.
- Print at 100% ("actual size"). Ink-saver line art is the default, so colouring in is part of the fun.
