Where the words come from

Sources

Qur'an verses are copied letter for letter from tanzil.net or quran.com, and du'as and hadith from sunnah.com. The reference is printed on the poster, with a transliteration and a simple meaning. Where schools of thought differ on small details, follow your teacher.

How to use it

For grown-ups

  • Hang it at the masjid entrance or in the children's area at eye level, so kids see it before they go in.
  • Before your next visit, act it out at home: walk in on your right foot, line up shoes neatly and use whisper voices.
  • Practise the entering du'a on the way to the masjid and the leaving du'a on the way out.
  • Teachers: pick one card a week to focus on, and praise the children you see doing it.
  • Print at 100% ("actual size") on thick paper, or laminate it for a busy wall. For a big classroom or masjid poster, use the 18 × 24 in PDF at a print shop.
