Sources

Qur'an verses are copied letter for letter from tanzil.net or quran.com, and du'as and hadith from sunnah.com. The reference is printed on the poster, with a transliteration and a simple meaning. Where schools of thought differ on small details, follow your teacher.

How to use it

For grown-ups

  • It's the shortest surah in the Qur'an, so it's a quick win: celebrate when all three stars are coloured.
  • Take turns: you say one verse and your child says the next, then swap.
  • Talk about the river in Jannah, Allah's gift to the Prophet (peace be upon him), and the gifts Allah has given your family.
  • Colour a star only when your child can say that verse on their own.
  • Print at 100% ("actual size") on thick paper, or laminate it for a busy wall. For a big classroom or masjid poster, use the 18 × 24 in PDF at a print shop.
